Laurel has been great to work with. From the very beginning, she was straight forward and gave me realistic expectations of my situation. She is very open, honest, and easy to communicate with. She was always very prepared for court. After a bit of a long drawn out, process, I finally got what I always wanted... Which was just to be able to co-parent my children. I definitely recommend Laurel if you want a hard working fighter on your side!

This law office probably has some of the nicest staff I've ever met. Hiring a lawyer is scary enough , especially when you have to put all your trust into a team that you aren't familiar with . From the first phone call , Angie was amazing . After explaining to her our situation , she helped answer all my questions & the ones she couldn't , she put me on hold while she asked the attorney directly .

From the moment I started talking with her, i knew this firm wasn't just about taking your money. They genuinely cared & wanted to help. After I spoke to the attorney , she explained exactly how she could help and what she recommends us to do. After our conversation I told her i would talk to my boyfriend and give the office a call back after talking it over with him.

Laurel assured me not to feel pressured to hire them, she said she could still try to guide me where to go and what to file if I decided not to. I felt a feeling of comfort when she said that. After discussing things with my boyfriend I called the firm back and let them know we would love and appreciate if they represent us .

Within ONE DAY, all necessary paperwork was filed & we had a hearing set . I could not have asked for a better outcome , and we couldn't have done it without Decker & Buchanan. Our case is not even finished , but we know now we are in good hands! This team is the best.

TRUST WORTHY| EMPATHETIC | PASSIONATE!
My husband and I hired Laurel with Decker & Buchanan a year ago. Our family went through a couple of attorneys to find; they didn't have the proper paperwork to show a judge, didn't call or show up to a court day, literally shut us down when we were in need of confidence, hope and so forth...

But then we found Laurel!

Honestly, at first we were hesitant with Laurel because she didn't know us and we had not heard about her and her team. We thought, ha! This business doesn't have a domain email or a proper voice mail but LOW AND BEHOLD, they sure know what they are doing.

Laurel was frank with us in the beginning and told us we would have to wait almost a year until our nightmare was over because of steps we had to take to get there. We were in a really bad situation. She guided us as to what to expect, prepared two options and waited until she see's what the judge will react too, research something she was not familiar with (because there is so much to know as a family attorney if you want the right move in your case) Every case if different.

She listened to us when we cried, when we yelled, when we reacted but she always made us feel like she was on our side and things would work out once we got to the end.

IT DID!

We are so grateful to Laurel and her team! We would never ever recommend someone or a business if we didn't get the treatment and courtesy we expected. Cases like ours are unpredictable but she always had a plan. Remember, having an attorney on your side helps you when you feel lost and emotional.

Do what she asks and stick to it. She knows what you are up against.

I can't say enough about her. 2019 was the worse nightmare we have ever encountered and now its over with, thanks to Laurel.
